The Polytechnic has well qualified, committed and experienced faculty in all the branches of engineering. There are 23 graduate Engineers, 4 Post graduates, 9 diploma Engineers and 21 supporting and other staff working full time in this Polytechnic.

The examinations are conducted by the Board of Technical Examinations, Government of Karnataka. The odd semester exams are held in the months of November / December and even semester exams are held in the months of April / May.

To appear for the exams, students must obtain 75% of attendance in each subject. Failure to get the attendance will bar the student from appearing for the examination. No concessions will be given in this regard.
