For General:
Pass in SSLC / Equivalent with 35% aggregate marks in Mathematics & Science.

For SC/ST/Category I candidates of Karnataka :
Pass in SSLC

Applicants for Automobile Engg. must have completed 16 years as on 1st July.

25% seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates |

10% free seats are reserved for meritorious students. Candidates with 75% or above marks in Mathematics & Science can avail these seats.

B. |
Admission Procedures : |
|
|
Candidates seeking admission to the diploma course should obtain the prospectus and the applications by paying Rs. 225/- in cash at our Polytechnic office (The application and the prospectus can also be obtained by post by sending a DD in favor of The Principal , S. N. M. Polytechnic , Moodbidri for Rs. 250/-).
The candidate should fill up the application form with all necessary particulars. The application form along with one xerox copy of S.S.L.C. / Equivalent marks card should be submitted to The Principal , S. N. M. Polytechnic , Moodbidri, Post :Kodangallu -574 197. |

Selection : |

Candidates will receive the admission / interview intimation card from the institute after verifying the eligibility , merit and documents enclosed with the application form. The date of interview will be mentioned in the admission card . They should submit the originals of following documents at the time of admission.

Transfer & Conduct Certificate (Original & 1 copy). |

6 Photographs (3 Passport size + 3 stamp size) |

Rural certificate duly countersigned by AEO / BEO - Original & 1 copy |

Caste Certificate issued by Tahsildar for SC/ST & Category I candidates (Original & 1 copy). |

Eligibility certificate - In case of students who have passed 10 std. or equivalent exams, other than K.S.E.E. Board, Bangalore (Original & 1 copy). The candidates can contact the office for more details. |

Payment of fees : |
|
| |
The annual fees for the course is Rs. 7,050/-for Karnataka and Rs. 8,050/- for non-Karnataka students. An additional amount of Rs. 1500/- will be collected as Book Bank & caution deposit during the time of admission, which will be refunded after the completion of the course.

Candidates seeking admission from other states : |
|
| |
Candidates who have passed examinations other than S. S. L. C( Karnataka) have to obtain eligibility certificate from the Secretary , Board of Technical Examination , Palace Road , Bangalore – 1 before being admitted to the courses. The Polytechnic will help the candidates to get eligibility certificate, if desired. |
